Cherry Lipstick relaunched after a 2 and half year absence with this issue. It was put together at the end of 1996 with the CL team getting back together and a publicity drive via various Duran fanzines (especially the Dutch Go Duran). Then, one week before being sent to the printers the news came through that John had quit. The intro was re-written and then sent out. This was a serious blow for Duran Duran and (rather less importantly) a new fanzine trying to re-establish itself. Thankfully CL carried on, as did DD.
